What’s in a T-Shirt?
There’s really no better way to show off your personality than with a graphic tee. They have hilarious phrases, and you can even put your dog’s face on it, letting everyone know you stand on business! But where do you buy the best ones, ones that are actually funny without being embarrassing? Don’t worry, we have a few favorite haunts.
1. Hot Topic
Hot Topic is often dismissed as the place “emos” go to, but that phrase was retired, like ten years ago. Now, it’s one of the coolest spots for hilarious graphic tees, band memorabilia, and adorable knick-knacks from every fandom. Tees are moderately priced, too, so you can nab a few while you’re there.
2. Design By Humans
DBH has thousands of shirt designs from a bunch of local artists, allowing you to support the little guy and get a great shirt in the process. They range from cute puns to incredible talent, so you’ll find just about anything you’re after. You never know which artist you’ll stumble upon, either.
3. TeePublic
TeePublic can be a little overwhelming. With so much to buy and see, it’s hard to know where to look first. However, if you stick with the tee selection, you’ll feast your eyes on thousands of amazing designs. They could be anything from cartoon characters to your favorite fandom, and you can pick and choose various art styles, too.
4. Retro Kid
If you grew up in Canada watching PBS, Retro Kid is your go-to spot for nostalgia. Do you want a Molly doll from Big Comfy Couch? How about a library card tee shirt from Arthur? While their merchandise isn’t “ha-ha” hilarious, it is a trip down memory lane that’s bound to make you smile!
